Profyle Card - helping companies improve their networking and team engagement

Welcome to NEXUS Startup Diaries, the number one place to discover the hottest and most inspiring startups and founders.

Today we're excited to meet Chris Tingley of Profyle Card...

So Chris, tell us more about Profyle Card

Profyle Card is a leading provider of digital business cards. Founded in 2021, Profyle Card is based in London with over 10,000 users located all over the globe.

The Profyle Card solution allows companies to improve their networking and team engagement, turbo-charge lead generation, and deliver a consistent brand image... all whilst working towards ESG targets.

How did you come up with the business idea and what problem are you looking to solve?

We started Profyle to reduce the number of single-use paper business cards that are just thrown away - helping businesses to improve their sustainability.

Now, our mission has grown to also help businesses improve the way they network and collect valuable lead information.

What made you want to start your own business?

I've been running a digital agency for over 10 years and was keen to get back "product side" for a while!

What stage is your business currently at?

Profyle is at a stage where our product and offering is pretty mature and we're now looking to scale up sales and marketing. Our priority is growing the business and improving our customer engagement and success.

What do you love most about being an entrepreneur?

Every day being different and challenging in a new way. The ability to manage my own time and future.

What is the number one business tip you've learned that you'd like to share with fellow budding entrepreneurs?

Learn to trust your gut when decisions are hard.

Who are your startup heroes?

Bill Gates - for creating the personal computer age and ultimately the cornerstone of the IT industry that so many of us work in today.

Is there a favourite podcast, book or series you'd like to share with the world?

Nothing to do with entrepreneurism, but my favourite podcast is "No such thing as a fish". I love hearing weird and wonderful facts about the world and life.

Where can people find you online?

Please add me on LinkedIn to carry on the conversation!

It's been really great to chat today Chris! Good luck in the future with your business and we look forward to catching up with you soon.
