So Ash, tell us more about GI Healthcare Industries

We are a Food Tech company focused on developing advanced autonomous kitchens for both the terrestrial and space sectors.

Our vision is to make freshly cooked, healthy food accessible and affordable for anyone, anytime, anywhere. We achieve this by automating the cooking process, eliminating the need for specialised chefs, expensive equipment, and large kitchen spaces.

Currently, we are working on a deployable kitchen solution for the UK Defence, designed to operate in extreme environments and other terrestrial settings.

How did you come up with the business idea and what problem are you looking to solve?

I had the problem of not getting time to cook and eating unhealthy processed food. I want to live on Mars in Future. So had to find a solution.

We are trying to solve the big problem people not getting access to freshly cooked food and relying on bad ultra-processed foods.

What made you want to start your own business?

My family background is in entrepreneurship and I started a startup previously.

What stage is your business currently at?

Right now, we have the UK Defence as our first major client.

My top priorities are to deliver a product they love and to ensure that we not only concentrate on defense but also make healthy food accessible to everyone through our catering services on Earth. My overarching goal is to expand this initiative into space!

What do you love most about being an entrepreneur?

Solving the big issues for a better galaxy and keeping busy!

Who are your startup heroes?

Elon - he never gives up and is working on deep futuristic tech.
